Funders

The European Commission has funded over €1 million towards this project. The funding comes from LIFE+ which is the European Union's financial instrument to support environmental and nature conservation projects.

The remaining funding is being provided by WWF and The Environment Council. We have also received contributions from the Iris Darnton Foundation, the Waterloo Foundation and Vodafone.

Since 1992, LIFE+ has co-financed some 3,115 projects contributing approximately €2 billion to the protection of the environment. You can disover more about LIFE projects on their website.
